Major Awards For John
Last week John Timpson attended the Institute of Directors North West Director of the Year Awards. At the large dinner event at Manchester Hilton Hotel, John was the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement award. The Award presented by Ann Jorda, Chair of IoD North West, recognises a senior figure in business who has done something truly worthy of special recognition.
Recently, John was also recognies by Liverpool John Moores University for his outstanding contribution to business industry.
He received an Honorary Fellowship. Fellowships are given in recognition of outstanding achievment by an individual in a given field or profession.
Pictured here is John Timpson with the award winning actress Alison Steadman OBE- who also recieved a Fellowship, and Dr. Brian May CBE, musician, songwriter and astronomer who was installed as the fourth Chancellor of the University.
