- White or off white background.
- Up to 6 photos required.
- Close up of head and top of shoulders.
- Uniforms CANNOT be worn.
Guidelines Passport (New)
- White or off white background.
- Head size 80%. (40.8mm or 1.6in)
- No Boarder.
- Full front view of face and top of shoulders.
- Showing full face in middle of photo.
- Photo is not to be stapled or signed.
- Children's eyes need to be open.
Visa Requirements
Plain light background.
Head size between 1in - 1 3/8in (25mm - 35mm).
Head coverings for religious reasons only.
Babies under 1 do NOT need their eyes open.
From the 15th August 2015 the Visa Application has changed, you will now need to upload an image to a website so you will need a digital copy of the photo your photograph.
The digital photograph to be uploaded along with the Visa application should meet the following requirements:
Format – JPEG
Size Minimum 10 KB – Maximum 300 KB
The height and width of the Photo must be equal.
The minimum dimensions are 350 pixels x 350 pixels Maximum 1000 pixels x 1000 pixels
Photo should present Full face, front view, eyes open.
Centre head within frame and present full head from top of hair to bottom of chin.
Background should be plain light coloured or white background.
No shadows on the face or on the background.
Without borders.

- Full Face, Front View, Eyes open.
- Neutral expression, neither frowning nor smiling with mouth closed.
- Head coverings for religious reasons only, but full facial features are not to be obscured.
