Do I pay to get a vending unit installed?
No, there is zero cost to your business. Timpson covers 100% of the equipment, installation, maintenance and all other costs. You simply provide the space, and we take care of everything else.
How does the revenue share work?
You earn a commission on every transaction made at your Timpson vending unit. Your revenue share will be paid monthly directly to your account, so you’ll be earning extra income for almost no effort whatsoever.
The exact commission rate is agreed as part of your partnership agreement and varies by service type and site. Our team will discuss this with you in detail during your site survey.
What if my vending unit needs maintenance?
All maintenance, servicing and repairs are handled entirely by Timpson, so your staff don't need to do anything. We respond quickly to any faults, minimising downtime and ensuring your customers can still enjoy the service.
How much space do I need?
Space requirements vary by service. Our passport photo booths and photo kiosks have a compact indoor footprint, so you need approximately 1.2 x 1.2 m for a booth and 0.8x0.8m for a kiosk. Self-service key cutting machines are freestanding and similarly space-efficient.
Launderettes are outdoor units requiring approximately 3.2m × 4.2m of external space. Our site survey will assess your space in detail and ensure everything will fit!
Can I have more than one type of vending unit?
Of course! Many of our site partners run multiple Timpson services, so you could choose to install a launderette, photo kiosk, passport booth and key cutting machine all at once. Simply submit an enquiry for the units you’re interested in, and our on-site survey team will help you decide what works for your space.
How long does it take for my unit to go live?
Once we’ve completed your free site survey and the partnership agreement is in place, we’ll fit your chosen vending unit within a month. We aim to get all units as live as quickly as possible, so we’ll agree on a more specific timeframe with you after the survey.
What happens if my customers have a problem with my unit?
All customer support is handled by Timpson's dedicated team, so your staff don't need to worry about anything. Each unit features our contact information, so customers can get help directly from us!
